SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (1-0-2) battled to a scoreless tie with Chestnut Hill (0-1-2) in non-conference men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday.

Freshman goalkeeper Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) recorded one save in a shutout effort for the Rams. Rodrigo Artiga posted three saves for the Griffins.

The Rams had a 15-6 advantage in shots with a 4-1 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd had a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Shepherd possessed the ball for 58 percent of the contest.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Wheeling at 3 p.m.
