LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
Shepherd University (12-4, 2-1 PSAC East) handed Lock Haven (3-10, 1-1 PSAC East) a 25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22 setback in PSAC East volleyball action at Lock Haven on Saturday.
Junior middle hitter/right side
Sophia Ryan (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) recorded 11 kills to lead the Rams. Freshman outside hitter
Ada McCoy (Bunker Hill, W.Va./Musselman) had 10 kills and a match-high five aces. Junior outside hitter
Amya Davis (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) added nine kills, a pair of aces, and eight digs.
Sophomore libero
Kiela Sanger (Sunnyvale, Texas/Sunnyvale) recorded 12 digs for the Rams. Senior setter
Macy Buso (Parker, Colorado/Chaparral) posted 43 assists and two blocks.
Olivia Taylor had 17 digs, and Lola Coulter had a match-high 18 digs to lead Lock Haven.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Kutztown for a 7 p.m. contest.
