SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.  The Shepherd University men's soccer team (6-10, 3-6 PSAC East) dropped a 2-0 decision to West Chester (7-5-3, 4-3-2 PSAC East) on Senior Day in PSAC East men's soccer at Shepherd on Saturday.

West Chester took a 1-0 lead on an unassisted tally by Michael Regan at the 6:41 mark.

The Golden Rams capped the scoring at the 48:57 mark on a goal by Joseph Maxwell assisted by Luke Newman.

Sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) recorded zero saves for the Rams. Alexi Amanatidis recorded one save for the Golden Rams.

West Chester had a 10-4 advantage in shots and a 2-1 edge in shots on goal. Shepherd had a 5-3 advantage on corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 6 p.m match.
