Shepherd Men’s Soccer Falls to #8 Felician

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Shepherd University (0-2-0) dropped a 2-0 decision to #8 Felician (2-0-0) in men's soccer action at Felician on Sunday.

Ayato Kaneko scored on an assist for Keiji Sugiura at the 1:57 mark to give the Golden Falcons a 1-0 advantage.

Erick Aguiar scored an unassisted tally for Felician at the 11:45 mark to cap the scoring.

Sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Houck (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) posted four saves for the Rams. Mathias Kristoffersen recorded five saves for Felician.

Felician had an 18-9 advantage in shots and a 6-5 edge in shots on goal. The Golden Falcons had a 5-3 advantage on corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Lock Haven for a 2:30 pm match.
