Fuhrman (Ridley Park, Pa./2010 graduate of Leonardtown (Md.) High School) was a standout on the women's lacrosse team from 2011-14. She set and still holds the Shepherd single-season mark for most assists in a season with 40 in 2011. A three-year team captain, Fuhrman was a two-time Division II Independent Team and gained first team honors in 2012. Fuhrman (201) is one of just four Shepherd players to record 200 points in their career. Her 111 career goals place her seventh on the Shepherd all-time list, while her 90 career assists place her second. The 2013-14 Female Athlete of the Year, Fuhrman was the first Shepherd player to play in the prestigious IWLCA North-South All-Star Game.
