Danley Shank (Chambersburg, Pa./2002 graduate of Chambersburg Area High School) was a standout forward for the men's basketball team from 2002-07. He was a three-time All-WVIAC choice who gained first team All-WVIAC honors in 2007 and was named the Sparky Adams Heart and Hustle Award winner as selected by the conference officials. Shank set a Shepherd mark that year and ranked third nationally with a .905 free throw percentage. A three-time team captain, Shank finished his career with 1,560 points, 510 rebounds, and 153 assists.
