Shepherd University Athletics

One of the last three-sport standouts at Shepherd, Koepke excelled in swimming, tennis and basketball.  Lettered four seasons in tennis, three in basketball and one in swimming. Ranked eighth on the all-time scoring list (1,116) and fourth on the assists list (197), in men's basketball.  Was a three-time WVIAC Singles Champion in tennis, and twice captured a doubles title. Qualified for the NAIA Championships three times, and was the 1980 WVIAC Player of the Year posting a 16-1 record.  Earned Second Team NAIA Academid All-America honors in tennis as a senior.
