Shepherd University Athletics

Cole was a standout coach for the Shepherd baseball and softball teams.  Coles was the pitching coacl for the WVIAC Champions and NAIA Playoff Ram baseball teams in 1983 and 1984.  He leter served as head coach for the Shepherd softball team from 1985-91.  He led the 1991 team to the WVIAC Title and a trip to the NAIA Playoffs.  Cole earned WVIAC Coach of the Year honors in 1989 and produced four WVIAC Player of the Year selections (1986, 1988, 1990, 1991) in his seven year career.
