A standout performer in women's basketball from 1982-86, Price was a three-time all-star during her career, garnering Second Team honors in 1984 and 1985, and First Team honors in 1986. Finished her career with 15 school records to her credit. Set Shepherd records for career scoring (1,572), career rebounding (871), career scoring average (18.3), single-season scoring (615 pts), (average 21.9), career field goals (671), and points in a game (37). Led the team in scoring in each of her last three seasons and paced the squad in rebounding as a sophomore and junior.
