D'Antuono was a standout offensive lineman for the Rams from 1980-83.  He helped guide the Rams to a four-year record of 30-9-2 (.738), and win two WVIAC titles in 1982 and 1983.  In addtion, the 1983 team made the school's first-ever trip to the NAIA playffs, where they lost to eventual national champion Carson-Newman in the quarterfinals. D'Antuono became just the fourth football player in school history to earn first team NAIA All-America Honors when he was tabbed to the elite squad as a senior.  In addition, D'Antuono was named a first team WVIAC All-Star as a senior, when his blocking paved the way to a school record of 2,968 rushing yards.
