Excelled in football, basketball, baseball and coaching. Selected to the All-Time WVIAC Football 50th Anniversary Team. Captain of the 1934-35 basketball team. Hahn was a successful football and track coach at Piedmont, Spencer, Ridgeley, Fort Hill and Wheaton High Schools; his football coaching record at Fort hill was 110-10-6. Hahn's football teams won 13 city championships and four Cumberland Valley Athletic League titles, track teams won six Maryland State Titles and 26 city and county championships. Selected Maryland High School Coach of the Year in 1947 and 1952.
