    Women's Basketball Coach
Runner served as a coach for the Shepherd women's basketball team for 12 years. She was an assistant under Hall-of-Famer Betsy Blose from 1997-2002 and later served as head coach from 2002-09. She helped lead the Rams to WVIAC titles in 1999 and 2008. Runner gained Coach of the Year honors in 2007-08 as she led the Rams to a record-setting 24-7 mark and a trip to the East Regional title game. The Rams finished the season ranked 25th nationally. Runner led the Rams to a 116-87 overall mark over her seven-year career as head coach.
